We're Not Experts—
We're Living This Too

A couple navigating AI's impact on two very different careers, helping others find clarity in uncertain times.

Our Story

We're the Wallaces—a couple facing the AI revolution from two completely different perspectives. What started as dinner table conversations about how AI was reshaping our work turned into something much bigger: a tool to help others navigate the same uncertainty we were experiencing.

Two Careers, Two AI Realities

Jeff works as a knowledge worker in a highly specialized industry. When ChatGPT and other AI tools emerged, he immediately recognized the writing on the wall. In the near term, he calculated that roughly one-third of his job responsibilities could be handled by AI. Looking further ahead, with the inevitable adoption of agentic AI by his employer, he estimates 70 to 80 percent of his current duties could eventually be automated.

But here's the thing that kept him optimistic: the remaining 20-30% of his work—the strategic thinking, relationship building, and complex judgment calls—are the parts he enjoys most. These are also the tasks that won't be easily replicated by AI in the immediate future.

Nicole is a chiropractor with 25 years of experience. Her perspective on AI is entirely different. While she recognized that AI could certainly support the administrative side of her practice—scheduling, billing, documentation—she felt confident that it would have minimal, if any, impact on her core duties: the hands-on patient care, physical assessment, and treatment that define her work.

The Wake-Up Call

Jeff became an early and aggressive adopter of AI tools approved by his employer. He dove in, experimented, and quickly learned to leverage these tools to dramatically increase his productivity and free up time for the high-value work that machines couldn't replicate.

But what concerned him deeply was what he saw around him: a troubling lack of interest in these tools, even among his younger peers who had the most to lose. The same pattern appeared in conversations with professionals across other industries—a widespread lack of awareness and urgency about the changes ahead.

"Even among those who were aware of AI's capabilities, there was shockingly little strategic thought about how to adapt and position themselves for a meaningful career in an AI-transformed world. That gap between awareness and action kept me up at night."

Then one afternoon, the irony struck him: why wasn't he using AI to solve this very problem?

That realization was the genesis of the AI Awareness Report project.

Why We Built This

We created the AI Awareness Report because we saw a dangerous disconnect: AI is advancing at an exponential pace, while career awareness and adaptation are barely moving. The result? Talented, capable professionals sleepwalking into a future where their skills may no longer be valued—not because they aren't smart or hardworking, but because they didn't see the change coming in time to do something about it.

We're not consultants. We're not career coaches. We're not AI researchers with PhDs.

We're people living through this transformation, just like you. We've experienced the anxiety of watching job duties become automatable. We've felt the pressure to adapt quickly while staying valuable. We've had the difficult conversations about what skills matter now versus what mattered five years ago.

And we've learned that the key isn't to fear AI—it's to understand exactly where you're vulnerable and take concrete steps to position yourself for the future.

Our Mission

We believe everyone deserves honest, data-driven insights about how AI will impact their specific role—not generic advice, not fear-mongering, and not false reassurance.

Our goal is simple: give professionals the clarity and actionable strategy they need to thrive in an AI-transformed workplace. Whether you're in a high-risk role like Jeff or a low-risk profession like Nicole, understanding your position is the first step toward building a resilient career.

We use AI itself to analyze your role, identify your vulnerabilities, and recommend specific strategies tailored to your situation. It's meta, we know—but it works.

A Note on Transparency

We believe in radical honesty about both the capabilities and limitations of AI—and of our service. Our analysis is based on current AI trends, industry data, and research from credible sources. But we're clear about what we don't know: exact timelines, individual company decisions, and how quickly specific industries will adopt AI.

What we can offer is a thoughtful, data-informed perspective on where your role stands today and concrete steps you can take to position yourself for tomorrow.

We're on this journey with you. Let's navigate it together.
